| Our Orthodox Pledge In Rockland County |
1. Orthodox transfer of remains from the place of death by
a Shomer accompanied by a NYS licensed funeral
director.
2. A shomer will sit with the deceased up to and including
the burial rite.
3. Taharah will be performed by the New Square Chevera
Kaddisha in the New Square Taharah room. The Chevera
Kaddisha is supervised by Rabbi Bayer of New Square.
4. If you desire a chapel service, the service may take
place at the Gates of Zion Chapel. The Room has divided
(Mechitza) seating with a partitions if requested.
5. Burial will follow at the cemetery of your choice.
6. Burial may also take place in Israel
